ASA

The Ventura County Emergency Medical Services Agency is the government agency that has direct oversight of all EMS providers within Ventura County. The VCEMSA monitors the compliance of our five contracts with The County of Ventura to provide Paramedic Ambulance Transport services. When we were awarded the five contract areas in 2004 we began an unheard of seventeen year (if all contract extensions are awarded as we plan) contract term. The areas that we hold the contracts for are as follows:

ASA-2

Includes the cities, communities and surrounding unincorporated county areas of Santa Paula, Fillmore and Piru (including Lake Piru State Park) including all of the Hwy-126 corridor from Ventura City to the Los Angeles County line.

ASA-3

Includes the cities, communities and surrounding unincorporated county areas of Simi Valley, “The Knolls”, and Box Canyon.

ASA-4

Includes the cities, communities and surrounding unincorporated county areas of Thousand Oaks, Moorpark, Newbury Park, Oak Park, and Lake Sherwood.

ASA-5

Includes the cities, communities and surrounding unincorporated county areas of Camarillo, Leisure Village, Somas, and California State University, Channel Islands.

ASA-7

Includes the cities, communities and surrounding unincorporated county areas of Ventura, Saticoy, La Conchita and “The Rincon”.
