AMR-Ventura County’s Advanced Life Support - Paramedic Standby is a cost effective service that offers the same level of care that would be provided by a Paramedic Ambulance standing by but you will only receive one senior level Paramedic without a partner. This allows allows us to offer an Advanced Life Support level of care at a reduced price. The Paramedic will arrive in a fully equipped ambulance or support vehicle and can provide all the advanced level care, but will require an additional ambulance to respond from our 9-1-1 system to provide transport for patients to the hospital. Since AMR is the largest Paramedic Level First Responder and Paramedic Ambulance Transport Provider within Ventura County, one of our 9-1-1 Paramedic Ambulances is always close at hand even if you cannot afford to have one of our ambulances dedicated to your event.
Along with our Advanced Life Support - Paramedic Standby service we also offer a complete medical communications package for your event. If you do not have a communications plan for your event that includes two-way radios, we can provide radios for your event staff to communicate with our medical staff to ensure that we are always easy to reach.
Our ALS Paramedic Standby service gives anyone at your event, over 18-years of age, access to free Over-The-Counter medications and Sunscreen.
